A cost effective means of reducing the hazards associated with line strikes, this product is designed to make lines more visible to birds. It differs from other “bird flight diverters” in that it has a positive clamp attachment for securing it to the high static on transmission lines. The Bird Flapper is lightweight, has low wind resistance and can be installed with a shotgun stick or by hand. Will fit over conductors or static lines up to .63” in diameter. Best industry practice suggests placing the Bird Flight Diverters on the “high static” of transmission lines or on all three phases of distribution systems.
